We are delighted to welcome you and your child to St Augustine’s Catholic High School. Our belief is that we should inspire all children to strive to be their best and in the words of St Catherine of Siena, “Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire”. We are focused on developing the whole child, so that by the time they reach adulthood, they have become full rounded individuals who have reached their academic and personal potential with a strong sense of morality, reflection and spiritual embracement.
We have developed a robust pastoral support team within the school to help students with their health and well-being and to give them strength and knowledge about making the right choices in later life. Moral guidance and pastoral care are great strengths of our school; building self-esteem and confidence in young people today is at the heart of what we believe in.
Please watch the video below from Mr Murphy who outlines the high aspirations and expectations from our students.
Duke of Edinburgh Scheme: DofE is completed by all of our Y9 students. It is a key part of our enrichment scheme bringing students together, empowering leadership and making lifelong memories as they work together, laugh together whilst facing and overcoming challenges. Mr Morris talks about the scheme in more detail.
