St Augustine's PTFA
Welcome to the St Augustine’s Parents, Teachers, and Friends Association (PTFA)
The St Augustine’s Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) is a registered Charity (no: 1040260) which was setup in 1994. The PTFA’s primary objective is to engage in fundraising activities to improve the students’ facilities at the school.
Throughout the year we hold events such as Bag Packs, Raffles and Car Washes as well as sell Tea, Coffee and Cakes at Parents evenings or Drinks and nibbles at intervals for School Concerts, Pop Icon and other school productions.
PTFA meetings are held once every 2 months and are a great excuse to have a glass of wine and cheese with friendly faces, whilst coming up with new ideas to raise funds for the school. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings.
If you can’t spare an evening to attend the meetings but would still like to support the school, you can do so by volunteering at one of the many PTFA events.
Donations the PTFA have made to the School
- £12,500 – Towards building the Canterbury Suite
- £1,000 – New Signs for the school
- £1,500 – For the Chaplaincy Rainbow Scheme
- £600 – Landscaping project
How can I help?
You can help by simply letting us know if you have any contacts, if you are able to receive discounts from companies from which the PTFA could benefit or if you have any particular skills you would like to offer. Offering to help with events or at other times during the year is also very valuable.
It doesn’t matter if you can not help on a regular basis, or even if you can not come into school, there are always little jobs that can be done from home if you have half an hour to spare e.g. preparing raffle tickets etc or simply by sending in old mobile phones.
If you feel able to give more time why not come along to a meeting?
If you would like to join the PTFA or find out more, please email the PTFA.
